Has Mourinho ever taken the blame for a defeat? I've not noticed before but this season he's been keen to put the blame fully on the players when it goes wrong and take all the glory when it goes right.

He took the blame for the Basel defeat and has done many times before. Today was completely the players fault, disgusting attitude from start to finish. Newcastle worthy winners.

So he did, fair enough I seemed to remember him saying the players had made up for their garbage start after beating Schalke but I even remembered that wrong :D

The clock's from a replay. It actually happened at around the 14 second mark.

Anyone else think that the dropping of Joe Hart has done more than encourage Hart to buck up his ideas?

£ity is beginning to show the kind of form that most of expected would enable them to romp away with the title, this season.

It's quite scary these two are the top two in given the lack of quality on the bench but that's the current Premier League for you.

Draw is the most likely outcome but playing away will suit Liverpool more and they've already taken a scalp in United so the confidence is there.
