I found this on the liverpool board, maybe no go for Ngog, as they see it No go for Ngog David Ngog has refused to go to Sunderland;maybe that is what is delaying the announcement of of Jordan Henderson signing. He is unlikely to be part of the deal for Henderson Reply Reply With Quote Promote to Article Blog this Post . -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today 09:04 PM #2 KingPepeReina View Profile View Forum Posts Private Message View Blog Entries View Articles Add as Contact Moderator Achievements: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join Date:Feb 2011 Posts:2,367 Points:6,219 Level:51 Blog Entries:1Rep Power:0 The delaying of the Henderson signing has to do with Henderson being with the England under 21s.Everything is done,He will be unveiled when he returns from holiday. Confirmed by Psycho during an inetrview today that both of the players wanted their transfer deals settled before joining the U21 squad. David needs first-team games to progress and I feel he will get more games at Sunderland than at Liverpool. However this has not been confirmed by the club. The deal is a £16 million cash deal and NOT the £20 million price quoted. This is 97% reliable as it comes from the Liverpool Echo. David Ngog is not going to Sunderland as part of the quoted £20 million deal.Sunderland have instead accepted £16 million in cash. Jordan Henderson will complete a £16m cash switch from Sunderland to Liverpool today. But David Ngog will not be moving the other way as part of the deal. Black Cats boss Steve Bruce wanted the French striker, rated by the Reds at £8m, to take the deal past his £20m valuation of the young midfielder. But the deal will now be cash only, with Ngog staying at Anfield for the time being. Henderson was at Melwood yesterday where he agreed personal terms and underwent a medical. But paperwork at the FA and Premier League prevented the deal from being completed last night
David N'Gog is not part of the Henderson deal that deal is completely seperate, we do want to sign him though
Well if N'gog is a N'ogo is it really a great loss? If he's happy to warm the bench at Anfield, let's leave him to it. He's not worth chasing if he has any doubts about coming to our club and for £8m!....they're having a laugh.
I'd like Ngog, but not at £8m. £4m yes, but that was yesterday when we were getting £20m for Henderson. So what is happening? Henderson was going nowhere unless we got £20m? I'm sure that is what was said? So now he's gone for £16M. Hey, don't worry. I'm sure we are due another £2m installment on Kenwynne. Whip whoo.
Stupid to let Hendo go for 16m when it was quoted 20m by our club, if they had hung on till manu and City joined the fray they would have got the asking price we sold him too cheap.
Who knows how much it really was? The papers up here are still saying £20m. TalkSport radio say the same.
Folks, exiled season ticket holder down here in Liverpool.Just got in from work and I can tell you now that the initial storys on here would appear to be true, Local press and media (Radio City,Liverpool Echo and BBC Radio Merseyside) are all reporting that Ngog has refused point blank to enter into discussions with us. He dosent want to come apparantly.Well from what ive seen of him in the last two years down here, trust me folks its no big bloody loss to us !
Fair enough. Everyone knows the way you need to make the most of your potential in football is by sitting on the bench every game.
No one wanted the little prat anyway. I'm sure if he did manage to stumble upon these boards yesterday he wouldn't come within 100 mile of the SOL. So that'll be 20 Million cash for Hendo. Sweet.
From what I hear it's £16m rising to £19.25 and maybe a little extra. Not a bad swag bag in return for the lad.
Yeah this seems the way it will be. The add ons will probably be for goals, appearances and also it would suprise me if Sunderland didn't put an international appearance in there also so like 10 international appearances is 1 million and another 10 2 million etc etc... Might get on with my footy manager game..
Yeah I heard the same 4mil add on's depending on England appearence's and stuff like that anyway you should count yourselve's luck Ngog does'nt fancy it, he's pish.
Liverpool fan in peace. Thought i'd give you an update on what's happening with N'gog. 'Sunderland have had a strong interest in David, so we've agreed to let David speak to Sunderland about his future to see if he's interested in going there. They've expressed a strong interest, so we'll see what's next for him.' That has come from our director of Football Damien Comolli. So it seems Steve Bruce wants N'gog. It all depends on N'gog now and if he wants to go to Sunderland.
