This was written just after the Fulham game, but it gives an excellent account of how we set up and why.

Weakness 3 is the one that stood out to me. I really get frustrated in our inability to be able to use the center of the pitch when going forward.

Interesting analysis and probably pretty damn correct.

While we rely on organisation and strength in depth it shows we have little flair and when Kimbo gets outnumbered and loses the ball easily we are stuffed in that department. While Mutch has come in and done well he is a more straightforward player without Kimbo's speed of foot and numbleness. Mutch's greater phyicallity and box to box work is an advantage though.

If we had Bellers on the left and Noone on the right as many have been advocating we would have more options but Noone isn't great tracking back and would have to leave out two of Whitts, Kimbo or Gunnar. Forgot Cowie there as well.
