Cheers for the advice, you had me sweating there....but I've pocketed a nice little profit. Great chatting to you all, good luck in the cup and for the rest of the season. Hopefully we'll see you next season (in the Prem)!
Chris Wood was superb tonight. Held the ball up well, took his goal superbly. Like he did to set up Vardy at the weekend he is alot more aggressive when in possesion. Drinkwater also superb And despite only being on a few minutes Vardy and Nugent was good
Absolutely delighted with that result, mainly as its our first win over Fulham since I married a Fulham fan
Superb win and with 5 changes shows the depth we have in our squad all very competitive Full credit to Pearson for putting this squad of young players and and real togetherness Man Utd next round please at home A far more important game on Saturday at Watford though
Yeah far more imo. Nice to get a win in front of 18,000, not bad for the lge cup on a Tues, I hope our form continues & Wood can now start to get more mins on the pitch & help us in our quest. We really need alot of creative players this season to set up & score those goals if we want to go up. WFC will be a tough game on Sat but 1 we should get atleast a point out of, so I hope we go there very positive. It´ll be streamed aswell as far as I can tell so I´ll be watching it. Well done City, KEEP IT UP.
One of those unforgetable cup nights - Man United away in the next round will do for me ... 10,000 City fans and nothing to lose ... you never know
What a cracking game! Very pleased with the result, in to the quarters of the League Cup, keep the momentum going! I'm with Fosse, would like Man Utd (home or away).
What a game to miss - was so close to going but did overtime at work and was knackered so I thought I'd just listen to it on the radio. Will go to the next league cup game for sure.
How did you make profit from that! i can imagine the bookies cleaned up with that unbelievable scoreline. I don't care who it is in the next round as long as its at home.
I was absolutely convinced you'd beat us, this feeling was cemented by our poor performance against Southampton. I had a cheeky £50 on you to win in 90mins (plus included you in a few weekend accumulators). I'm a little but gutted though, as I knew you'd score from a header as our defending has been shambolic in recent weeks from set pieces - on the advice of one of your fans - I backed Moore to score first and anytime (unfortunately he was left on the bench - but I still get my cash back). Still, I can't grumble...a profit's a profit! Good luck for the next round...I wouldn't be surprised to see you take another Premiership scalp b
