On paper this looks simply appalling! I remember thinking similarly of the team sheet before 0-3. No Ki/Giaccherini/Wes. We need this lot to up their games massively!
We've got a good bench capable of making an impact but I fear we will be too far gone by then. We really needed to take the game to them & score first.
No Celustka, Roberge, Ki, Giaccherini. Dossena making debut and Colback in Centre midfield. He's gone with Local lads and players who know the premier league well. Shocking selection.
Did Pardew pick that team ?, that is shocking Bardsley, O Shea and Cuellar you have to be joking, where is Brown, Giacchi etc, Poyet out on onday morning if we lose this. I know what the hell is going on it's the merceneries like O Shea etc 'doing ' it on the training pitch but crap on match day. that is a pathetic line up.
We have the makings of a good team in Westwood, Celuskta, Brown, Roberge, Jack, Jonno, Ki, Catts, Giacc, Fletch, Altidore. The team thats been picked today looks like a Championship lineup. I really hope he knows what hes doing!
With that lineup Colback is going to have to have the game of his life, both offensively and defensively. We may just see the lad come of age today. (He said with everything crossed it is possible to cross.)

The team he has picked is one that knows what this Derby is about. Roberge, Diakte, Giacc and even Ki wouldnt realise the pressure on a day like this.
