Hate to be pessimistic but I can see them being fired up because of the doubts being expressed about their form so far and with RVP back I fear a mullering especially if they play De Gea outfield knowing we could not score in an open net

Sadly subject of course to Norwich and Cardiff we could be bottom 3 tonight

I feel it'll either be a mullering or a win.

As Man U are in bad form (they couldn't even score against Real Sociedad and only won due to an OG).
I think they will either be bad and we will win OR they will suddenly get their act together and thrash us :(
 
I'm not making prediction again today, haven't a clue what might happen. In a strange way, I think we are in a similar situation to United, (in most games) we've been playing well, but just not getting anything/ enough out of the game.
I'm confident that we will go for it, and it'll be a far more open game than any we've previously had against United, so anything could happen, and we should at least have something a bit better to watch.

I WAS quietly confident before I read this thread now????? Just wept mate. Utd are NOT at their best BUT neither are we able to fookin SCORE.
That said Mark Hughes has told the player's to RELAX, don't fear Utd and go for it. I honestly can not see any other way we could approach this game.
With some LUCK/great defending who knows? I HOPE Hughes gives Assaidi a start and Pennant too with TWO up front.
Win, lose or bust IMHO.
