Mister Impatience could be different gravy comapred to this lot in the next at Donny. He has a 2nd behind Rule of the World, and returns to the scene of a previous soft ground victory and although Johnston's haven't been in the best form he has had a winner on the card already today and could pick up another here.

Don't know what it is about Fridays, but I seem to hand money over to the bookies on an even more consistent basis than I do on other days of the week!

Think I'll put me pin back in it's case, draw a veil over the afternoon's proceedings and let discretion be the better part of valour till tomorrow.

Bon chance mes amis.

Speaking of bad luck recently did anyone else back Balder Succes at Cheltenham last weekend? Talk about having the race sown up then a bleeding fence catching him out... Same for anyone backed Eduard yesterday against Pendra. I wasn't sure Pendra would have held him off but I guess that's the joys of JUMPS racing!

i ve done Bridgehampton and Tessa Rossa in a combo at Wolves tonight-- hope j hills run continues.....

Reports from the king stable was the sun was right in his eyes and he guessed the jump as he couldn't see it properly and guessed rong

reports are that AP thought Pendra was well in charge!

Feedback from Fakenham today re LE REVE is that the take offs were pretty slippery and the horse slid going in to each of the first two fences and then slid into the guard rail when taking off at the open ditch. Not a good experience for a novice chaser. The yard were very disappointed today as the horse has schooled brilliantly. Hopefully the experience today will not have knocked his confidence.

Aye saw that Wooly but what I find weird is that if that was the case surely all the horses would have been affected unless they were wearing :emoticon-0103-cool: Bloody thing was going to hose up!

I think Pendra would most likely have won but would have been all out to do so!!

25/1 for the Arkle!

I have watched the race a couple of times and yes the race is decided by that mistake but AP allows him to simply jog home and they aren't catching him despite being ridden to do so. He will be even better over further but I think we will learn a lot more from his next run than we did from his debut!

Yeah Pendra should be suited by a step up and his jumping is a real asset to him. Always a valuable asset in a novice chaser as we can all testify to!
