Hope for a good showing this afternoon. 7th v 8th. Heart says 1-1, Head says 2-1 to Everton (Lukaku x 2). So going for 1-3 (Graham x 3), gut feeling. McGregor, Figueroa, Davies, Faye, Rosenior; Brady, Huddlestone, Livermore, Elmohamady; Aluko; Graham.
Im with Elle there, thrilled if we get a point, but if we want to be in Europe next season, we need to win this 1-3.
Got to look at this game as a free hit (as with Chelsea and Man City), if we lose well we expected that but at least we went for it, if we get anything then its a bonus. While were picking up points at home the pressure is really off for a game like this. Heart says 1-1, head says 2-1 Everton.
Sorry mate but that post shows a distinct lack of ambition. We're only 8 points off the top with 31 games left and we're still in both cup competitions. Nothing less than a domestic treble should be acceptable this season and I think Bruce's job should depend on it Correction; Only 5 points off the top.
Does anyone else think we might be rushing Brady back too early ? He went under the knife, only 20 days ago.
Not sure I'd play Rosey and Elmo on the left and Figueroa and Brady on the right, would be interesting!
I was thinking the same thing, especially with the Palace and Sunderland home games coming up, this games a bonus but we really need a full strength squad for those.
Perhaps it's not flipped horizontally but vertically - and McGregor is roving up front with Rosey and Figueroa bombing down the wings?
I had a hernia op a couple of years ago - was up and dancing in two weeks.......admittedly not as strenuous as 90mins of PL football, but Brady has trained with no ill effects, reportedly.
What sort of dancing though Stan?? I see you as a tango sort of lounge lizard, picking up rich widows.........
