Excellent, Carrick should have been the first name in the central midfield for the last ten years. Amazes me that he has been overlooked for so long.
Hopefully his limited international experience doesn't hinder him tonight. Smalling at right back is a strange one, think Jones would have been a better choice personally, but we will see.

If true that is quite surprising. Wonder if Boruc has stepped out of line again. Good news you'd think for England though.
Wouldn't surprise me if the Polish FA deliberately set it up. Boruc gets all the press attention and questions, as Szczesny quietly prepares.
