Sell if you can or release Barton and Smith start of second season.. Gameiro brought in second season, Javad Nekounam seems to alway be good... Chris Basham is good for the price when Blackpool get relegated too.. Ended up Euro Cup winners..

Started a new game, Jan 2011 and I'm 9th in the league. Clyne at RB is good, Torje on attacking mid left and right are class. Bought Cahill from Bolton who always gets injured, Taylor and Kadar are at CB for now. Both doing well. Ben Arfa is hit and miss. Got Rafinha in midfield who is getting better and better. Just need a decent striker whilst Kadlec develops. touch wood, it's going okay!
Just started a new game, and to my joy, I saw Benzema was for sale. Put in a loan offer for about 500k, only paying 50% of his wages and it was accepted and now signed. Put a 10 million buy clause aswell so hoping at the end of the season I can finish high enough for him to want to join
Anyone got any good defensive tactics. I'm 7 games into the season with two potentially good CBs. Mats Hummels and Gary Cahill.
But I've lost the Tyne-Wear derby 4-2, and lost to Everton, Chelsea, Man Utd and Wolves at home.(I've beaten Stoke and Birmingham away). I've had a hard spell of games, but my defence is leaky, so unless anyone gives me some good tactics, I will give them some time.

I've taken Gateshead to the EPL in about 10 years in my game, just got relegated tho 1st season up by 1 point, so far have managed to keep me job, board still love me, getting a new stadium next season, tho only 18000, gonna keep all me players and push for the championship title as made about £10-15m profit from that 1 season in the EPL, so that should cover the wages for a year.
I've got Hummels in my AC Milan side, turns into a very good player by the season I'm in (3rd season) stick with him!
What are your tactics in defence, can you take some screenshots or something. We seem to be leaking goals. And we've got ****e morale.
I set both full backs to defend and rarely make forward runs. All defenders to close down in own half. Play a defensive CM maybe to close down opposition. Seems to be working okay for me. On opposition instructions always tightly mark and close down the oppositions best players.

On an old game he went to Sunderland on loan, but rejected them when they tried to make it permanent, made sure I got in before them this time.

I dont go into loads of detail, play 4 at the back but the strength of my defence means I dont have to have loads of in depth tactical changes. Have my CBc on normal setting, and defensive. Full backs set to support. Trying to princt screen but it's just copying my desktop, how do I do it for the game screen?
Also set my 2 CM's to ball winning midfielder, one defensive and one support. Both are naturally DM's but comfortable in CM.
Nathane Clyne, £1m from Palace. His stats don't look good but he's a very good RB. I'm in Jan 2011 and Man U have enquired. Give Kadar games, he's pretty good.
Got both in my team! Naughton for 5mil and Hummels cost about 17 as he was pretty much at his best, but then I was replacing Nesta so I wanted to guarantee quality.
