Sorry for the early thread but Nottingham 430 has odds available and ladies has stuck 10s on AMULET sw kelly takes the third ride on this speedy one if they are alloud an early lead in this 4 place race he could and should take the prize money easily, I will be gobsmacked if they are not in the frame! Sw kelly has a close on 20% win rate here to reinforce my feelings also his other two races with amulet finished first over this distance and second over the same distance on the allweather . Amulet looks very light weigh compaired to the field and the 15 days break from his last outing should be enough to refresh and keep focus. As mentioned sorry for the early thread but I cant see 10 s lasting long at all. Good luck if you play
You were right cracker, its now 11's lol. MR SPIGGOTT 10-1 looks to be the subject of a bit of a punt in this for Moore/Queally, gets his ground and the market is screaming for him. Good luck cracker. The horse I was putting up for tomorrow is not running sadly. Another day!
Finally back from Paris, splendid weekend it was too. Hope everything is well. I have backed Imperial Circus tomorrow at 9/2. My note reads - big horse, beautiful looker. Stays 3 miles but wants flatter course and better ground. One to improve as he ages. That was noted after run at HQ. conditions look perfect for him tomorrow.
Cheers stick 9s to 11s available . mr spiggott looks good but I really think the visor is a hinderance i may be wrong but if the horse don't like it the jockey cant do anything , only time will tell and granted queally is exeptional at Nottingham but that is not enough to sway me , also weight may play apart if this is run strong .
LUCYS GIRL 4.20 Towcester 7-2 was found out at Fontwell over 2m 6f but even on a stamina sapping track like Towcester she should find 2m 3f perfect. I think she will be back in the winners enclosure tomorrow.
I was quite impressed by Raven's Tower's debut at Plumpton and if he comes on for that he could be the one to be on in the opener at Ludow. 7/2 on the tissue looks worth a dabble. Also I see Mr Henderson has Woodbank entered again in the 4.10 - very interesting again despite the absence.
Lads - anyone (SBC will know I'm sure) know what happened to Henderson's hurdler / nov chaser Punchestown from a few years ago ?? As a mate of mine says still in training but I said it must be retired now ? Cheers
Here you go DAYO, found this on Sporting Life website; After a two year absence from the track, the former Nicky Henderson-trained Punchestowns claimed his first victory between the flags in the Mens Open at Brocklesby Park. The French-bred ten-year-old will be remembered for his nine racecourse wins, including the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot and he looks an exciting pointing prospect, if Stuart Morris can keep him sound.
Cheers Stick - surprised still only 10 - life in the old dog yet. Always thought he was a better hurdler than chaser - think he won a novice chase at my local track Sandown if not mistaken ?
One for me tomorrow but pretty hopeful. Kempton 7.40 Im fram Govan 4-1 An Alex Ferguson horse I believe and one that has run well on all starts and I feel is still on a winning mark. It's a race that I have been able to cross quite a few off pretty easily and am left with the selection as well as Duke of Perth and Red Runaway but I think the selection will just prove a one class up horse to those two eventually. Great form behind the talented Bredden, then won it's maiden easily both at this track before running well in his first handicap on Turf, back to a track he is proven on will be too good for the rest. Later in the card Lutine Bell runs again and I feel so sorry for this horse and his connections as it is a very decent handicapper who always runs well and yet has only won 3 races out of 40 and not since November 2010. I am not sure if it's a genuinely unlucky horse or is not placed correctly but to own such a decent horse and find yourself in the winners enclosure so rarely is a shame. I notice it's been backed so maybe tomorrow will provide a change of fortune. I am not backing it but will be cheering him on.
Not a horse in training that deserves a win more than him. Comes from my favourite trainer in Mike Murphy and he's incredibly well handicapped. Couldn't quicken on the soft ground at Ascot after travelling like a dream. With regards to him getting backed, that happens every single race the night before. And I mean every single race! He also has taken a huge walk on track plenty of times before running really well. Its his easiest race for years off his lowest mark but I won't give him the added burden of having my money!
Just to catch the traffic on this site, here's another plug for the Not606 Newmarket studs visit. We now have a definite date Friday 15 November and I can confirm that we are definitely going to Banstead Manor to see Frankel. If you would like to come please add your name to the thread as time is quite tight to get this organised.
Stick, any views on the bumper at Tows? I see Longston has one but there's a gamble on the Guest horse 8s - 9/2 with PP
Hello lads and PN. Just finished watching back some of yesterdays action and I must say I was rather taken with the Lanigan filly Bold Lass who took the opener at Leicester quite easily. She is beautifully bred by Sea The Stars out of My Branch who won at listed level a couple of times and was G1 placed. Anything that wins from this yard first time out, after drifting in the market,is generally useful and open to plenty of improvement. One to keep an eye on imo. Off for a form perusal..much better racing today than yesterday. GL all.
Great minds 1/100 in running and gets nabbed on the post ay Navan...was well backed all morning as well..shade unlucky and would be gutted if I had of backed it.
