I know what you mean and why you might think that, but he's been posting with the same MO since mid 2008, IIRC.
He's either a Utd fan who likes the company or he's one of the most slow burning trolls in the history of the internet.

Paulinho was playing in the Lithuanian and Polish leagues at the age of 18, I'm not sure that the weather will be much of a shock to him.

The Brazilian schedule is insane, too. Corinthians played 60 games last season and it's possible to play about 100 or something equally stupid.

I agree we ought to congratulate West Ham. We now have our first test of character this year, and we'll just have to see how we do with it.

True, but the point was that many players struggle to acclimatise to English conditions in winter and playing 4 games in a little over a week when the rest of Europe are having a break. It's all part of managing players. Some have been allowed to go home to South America for a holiday!

If he is, then I'm not going to see the punchline coming.
He used to WUM quite a bit on old606, but this forum allows a more direct method of dealing with those that don't quite break the rules: Don't have any rules! <laugh>

It would have to be a very good wum to be worth pretending to be a United fan for years.

Well, I've no doubt about Luke, I've spoke with him for sometime now, as far back as old beeb, he even jumped in to give us a hand getting rid of Holte! that alone is worth his spot here! <laugh> and as you would expect he comes out with stuff off spec that only a United fan would really know, or bother to remember!

    Lol!
Other than "the team that won the league at a canter" which you know i hate  i think luke is a good poster. Its not his fault he's a utd fan, ok it might be, but it might also be his family's fault in the same way i blame my dad for my Spurs affliction.

I'd like to add my defence of LDL too.

He's been on our board since the start but I can honestly say he as blindly pro United, Fergie and the players as any United fan I've ever known :D

Think it was fatigue more so than arrogance.

I didn't understand why AVB took a full strength team bar Paulinho and Vertonghen to Russia.

The likes of Friedel, Naughton, Bentaleb and Kane could have been given starts/ minutes instead of using Lloris, Walker, Dembele, Defoe. Going to Russia with a game on Thursday night with our next game on a Sunday is not ideal and I think AVB royally messed up there. I like the fact he treats cups with respect but he also has to appreciate there are times where we need to be careful when playing teams abroad. West Ham is a far bigger game than Anzhi yet we played them with a good number of what I believe to be fatigued players which could have been easily prevented.

We've got 1 point from 3 London derbies so far, two of them home games, very disappointing.
