That's just male behaviour Beth, if not Molesworth, Monty Python or my particular weaknesses, Withnail and I/Spinal Tap would be quoted.....endlessly. It's carrying a chunk of shaped stone of course. However, that particular shaped stone is the representation of St Barts' flayed skin.
