Ryan Moore will ride him Sir Barney <ok>

Sad to read of the death of Grey Abbey - a real mix of flair and guts, it was always wonderful to see him pinging a fence. RIP.

Such a shame those amateurs on the Sporting Life website allowed a spelling mistake to slip through on the caption below his picture - it reads "Grey Abbey: An unforgettable lepper" <doh> <doh> <doh>

With Aaim to Prosper coming out everyone has gone up 6lbs which means Moore can easily do the weight for Lleutenant Miller. I look forward to reading the write up with the usual quote of 'magic hands' and the like...<doh>

Is Henderson gonna be having another runner in the race too in the shape of Earth Amber? Dont know much about him...

I do like the look of Domination in the race and the french horse Smoky Hill who was apparently being aimed at a group 1 race but takes his chance in this. Must be well thought of! Not sure what the weather is gonna do but could be rain towards end of week which may go against Lleutenant Miller.

Should be a good race and I always find the Cesarewitch fascinating with those jump trainers taking on the flat trainers..I'll be having a bet in it come Saturday....

Have to apologise for this. Seems they do indeed have some scribes worth their salt at SP and I was confusing Lepper with Leper. A lepper is a VERY old English word for a horse skilled in jumping. In my 2-score-and-a-bit years I've never heard of it but there you go.

Guys - I know queally won't ride for lady Cecil if Doyle does for an Abdulla horse - but lady Cecil has Hamelin in the 3.40 Leicester tomorrow and is top weight and Hughesy is on it even though Hannon has one in the race ??? Do we read anything into this ? Is Tom no longer no 1 at Warren Place ?

That’s alright, Oddy. You can join me and a few others on the social pariah scrap heap. On this site, political correctness forces them to use the term “Senior Member”, but as a moderator you get special treatment.

They don't make 'em like this any more:

Extremely cool moves, even to this day! <ok>

(Oh dear, QMII, I'm a social pariah too) <doh>

Tremendous news. And I’ll even exclaim a rather loud ‘Wooooooooooooo-hooooooooo!’. Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer, clearly was in the mood for no nonsense re his riding plans for this weekends ‘Ces’, people, and went straight to the top booking Ryan Moore for the Lieutenant and ‘King’ Kieron for his other runner, Earth Amber – what a lovely name for a filly by the way.

Ted Walsh uses the term frequently Oddy but he is the only one, apart from the guy at the Sporting Life obviously.

............Mr Henderson, the forum’s favourite trainer...........

Sir Barney, PLEASE, will you STOP this continuing crap! Run a forum Poll for Christ's sake, on St Stephen's Day (when in God's name is that? Ah yes, St Stephen's Chapel, Westminster, formerly used by the House of Commons for its meetings, LOL) if you like, and see if this joker really is the forum's favourite trainer. Then I might doff my hat to you. As for 'striding' to the winner's enclosure, just depends on what race it is. A later one, I doubt it, after he's had a 'few' in the trainers' bar, 'stagger' would then be the word?...............

Swanny, as I said the other day a fair degree of irony is employed every time that I award Mr Henderson that sobriquet! Keep up, old boy.
