Imagine if we'd retained Ba, and he now had Remy left of him. Get him back in January pronto. All the daft bastardos who were trying to tell me Ba wasn't very good, Cisse was far better, Ba was greedy and bad for the team etc etc, well that turned out well didn't it? Not that we had a choice with Ba but I'm still gonna pretend we did and whinge about it.

There's pretty much two players who would thrive up front for us in the league (who could realistically have played for us) - Lukaku and Ba. Adam Campbell won't suit the current system, but there's only a few who do, unfortunately. And they rarely come cheap. I'd really like us to uncover someone in January, much like we did with Cisse. Be happy to see someone new come in (Doumbia? Traore?), even selling Cisse, then bring in Ba on loan.

It's all down to confidence, Remy has it in buckets at the moment and Cisse does not. Against Cardiff Cisse had his chances, thwarted by some brilliant goalkeeping and by his slight hesitancy and wanting a touch when he didn't have time to take one. Cisse cannot buy a goal at the moment and needs to get off the Mark to regian the confidence that is sadly missing. Whilst Remy is knocking them in, that's great for the side, but puts Cisse under even more pressure to match his team mate. It's a bit of a Catch 22 situation. All we can hope is that he gets back into his groove and soon, if not then we may well see him gone. Personally l hope his form recovers, but we cannot afford any passengers in the side, it's bad enough having to cope with Cabaye's mood swings.

I think Cisse should get off Mark too. What's Mark ever done to him afterall?
