I know some of you wont agree, but based on this season´s games he is like a possessed hardworking elephant, he sprints, he tackles, holds the ball well and he carries the team when we start to play like crap, which we do at times. I actually have to look hard to find someone as stubborn as Michu when it comes to pressing, the guy just doesnt give up and should be a rolemodel for any player in the Swansea squad.

I already said this last season, so I guess I am just repeating myself, but I believe it would do the squad better in terms of workrate.

Michu openly demands more from the players on the pitch and I think he would make a great captain. In the absence of Ashley Williams I would give him a shout over Vorm and Britton.

Britton can NOT be overlooked for captaincy. I agree with you to the extent that Michu is a rolemodel on the pitch, but he hasn't got the club in his veins as the likes of Rangel and Britton. You're captain both places!

I dont agree with you there, since a captain should be considered a starter for the most part, Britton will miss quite a few games this season .... so to me its either Williams or Michu, both are guaranteed figure almost every game.

Not sure if Michu's English is good enough to be captain , I mean if the ref is asking him something or teling him something to relay to others then it could be aproblem, also it could well upset his pre-match routine which seems to be his way of geeing himself up and getting into "the zone"
Michu, while being truly inspirational should be left to play his own game and not worry about how others are doing, being a captain you need to have a clear head ,Michu plays on the edge and needs his anger flowing at 100% to be the player he is, I would worry that being in a more responsible position would dampen down Michu's fire and hinder his "all out war " on field attitude , a big no for captain <ok>
