13m + N'Gog, we were all hoping for more money but it aint the end of the world.

N'Gog is getting a canny bit of stick and unjustified IMO, he is just a young lad and has the potential, he fits into what Brucie is going and making us into a young, hungry side. He is a big lad with decent footwork and would be a canny 3rd choice striker.

With the 13m we could go out and bring in someone like N'Zogbia or Pavyluchenko.

I just hope the fans don't get on the back of N'Gog if or (looking likely) when he signs for us.

Poolie - you re trying to put a brave face on but it isn't working. N'Gog is ****e mate. Nowhere near strong enough or good enough to play in the EPL. He couldn't get into a Liverpool side that flirted with relegation this season.

If its true this deal is £13m + that useless twat I am seriously thinking about my season ticket. Bruce and Quinn Are taking the ****ing piss here and if even that's an unpopular thought, its true nonetheless. Bent and Henderson gone for £30m cash in some ****ers pocket and a ****ing useless tosser as the replacement for one of England's best strikers.

I am ****ing gutted. Back stabbed and totally let down doesnt come near my feelings. Relegation battle on its way again but this time with no ****ers to keep us up.

We're grieving. This is a farce. We've bent over for a big club. How's this been done while Bruce is supposedly not even in the country?

Does anyone think Gyan is likely to stay now?

    That's about right yeah.

Im one of the few who wouldnt mind Ngog as 3rd/4th choice. Scored a few in Europe last term.

However I am gutted at his valuation in the deal, 7m is a ****ing joke.

Fingers crossed he comes good, and we reinvest sharpish. Need to spend the £13m and ALL the Bent money on real quality or NQDP you're right, our better players might jump ship...

£7m for a 3rd choice striker is just a bit too rich don't you think?

Remember he's only third choice if we don't sign a big player. He's leagues off Campbell.

I can't see how you guys can see this so negatively, why not see it as getting 13 million for Henderson + add-ons (which I'm sure there will be loads of clauses etc) and for free you get N'Gog. Henderson was never ever worth £20 million, let's be honest. As for N'gog, that stat of 9 in 63 is slightly unfair, I'd say almost all those games he came on as a sub. He did a good job as lone striker in Europe for a while and is still relatively young. He reminds me of Babel in the sense that you can see there is potential and talent there somewhere yet at times he makes silly judgements and there are some games where nothing seems to go right for him. I think he could easily do well for you - it's not like he'd be your first striker, and he'd do a good job of adding to the squad - don't think you can ever have a team with too many strikers.

**** off with your never mind lads ****e son. Andy Carrol isnt worth £36m but you had to pay it.

Quinny and Bruce have been ****ed over on this deal and N'Gog is a pile of ****e. They have been shown to be little men in a big mans world and been caught starry eyed.

****ing N'Gog. What a ****ing disgrace.

Does your mam know you are on here? cos we do. we dont want zog,,,,,, ENGLISH CAP, YOUNG, POTENTIAL, why do Pool want rid of ZOG? why do Pool want Henderson, a no brainer, when a percentage of your squad has to be nationals. also Zog aint worth seventy quid never mind seven million.

Isn't it only 'apparently' so far? You guys seem to be acting like it's been confirmed.

    Re billofengland:

I'd imagine Steve Bruce has slightly more understanding than you of what a player should be worth and what's best for your team. For what it's worth, if we were playing inthe Europa league next season I would have wanted him to stay and prove himself in that competition. As it stands, trying to get to fourth and having no EL to blood youngsters means we don't have the luxury of giving players like Ngog much game time.

Shove your patronising ****e up your arse mate. N'Gog is ****ing rubbish whether Bruce fancies him or not. If he was any good you'd keep him. We've just handed over a highly promising young player that has been the backbone of our team for 2 years to you for a complete pittance and a plank

nobody know's it is 7 mil for N'gog. I watched most of liverpool's game's in europe, he led the line well and scored 5 goal's. All this in a Liverpool team playing defensive with no morale.

This is the first transfer of a long summer, we will have the same number in the suad that we did last week. On top of that another 13 million in the kitty, hardly the end of the world is it?

We were told he wouldn't be sold for less than £20m. That's my beef. Those controlling the club have backed down and gone back on their word.
