I can't believe he's going for £20m!! Obviously you've seen him in a lot more games than I have, but the few times I have seen him, against us twice and England, he's looked decidedly average (not wumming). Fair enough, he's young, has potential and is English, but £20m??? The worlds gone mad. Mind you, if you can get it off the scousers, fair do's. I can't stand them now, arrogant gits.

If the lad gets an offer of 4x his already canny income and the chance to cement his name in the England team (and that's what will happen if he goes), then he will be gone. He's a canny player Henderson, but he's not Jairzinho or Cruyff is he? Dalglish will turn him into a better player than Bruce ever will. He's gone. Eggsbastardzactly Roger. It only seems to be happening with Liverpool though, they're paying way over the top. I reckon all the black and whites thought Carroll was £15m max. Part of me wants him back, most of me wants him to fall flat on his arse. He could have said no.
Same with Hendo he only has to say no, but the massive pay rise, regular in the England set up, world at your feet, by **** i wish i was young again and in his shoes... but with my looks and brains though.
