Pato's got recurring back problems I've heard, thats what kept him out for so long at AC. Shame for him really as he's clearly got talent but not one we should pursue IMO.

This is going to sound a bit pedantic but you shouldn't use AC as a short title for AC Milan. It would be like using FC as a short title for say Liverpool FC.
AC means 'football club' in Italian.

Very pedantic!

Perfectly common way of differentiating between 'AC' and 'Inter', who incidentally use F.C.

Only in England! In Italy they are called Milan and Inter. The English spelling of Milan is deliberate as they were called that in honour of the inventors of the game.

Turns out we're not the only sports team in the world with ludicrous allegations of racism against us - in the NFL, middle class white people are saying how offensive it is that a team is called the Washington Redskins, yet the Native American community don't find this offensive in the slightest, due to not believing the term is offensive and pointing out they've been called much, much worse.

When members of one minority are telling members of another minority what they should find offensive, be it the hand-wringers in the case of the Redskins or the likes of Peter Herbert and David Baddiel with us, it underlines how utterly baseless their "concerns" are and how pointless it is to give them airtime.

Yes <ok> and Inter are Internazionale - no mention of Milan. The Milan reference has been added by others as Glasgow has been added to Celtic and Rangers, to define them geographically.

I think you are right about their original name but their own web-site now calls them FC Internazionale Milano and their badge has FCIM so I guess that changed.

I am fast becoming a big fan of Holtby

Chiriches to Chelsea in the gossip already. What's the lure of Chelsea these days and why do they want our players, we don't seem to want many of theirs do we?
