Well done on Sporting Boy, guys <ok>

(Slow Train Coming wasn't just slow, it conked out (PU). Oh well, I'm off to the Oktoberfest by slow tram....<cheers>).

Going to have a little dabble on Harry Kelly's debutant Ballintotty Boy 9/1 in the Roscommon finale. Looks decent enough on pedigree and was given a favourable mention by his trainer in a recent stable tour (only unraced horse mentioned) where he said that he'd definitely win a bumper at some stage. He did say he was quite green at home so that is a definite concern and as such he isn't a horse you can have anything but a small bet. The excellent 7lb claimer Pa King rides and although there is a very strong chance he'll improve a lot for the experience Harry Kelly's debutants are well forward for their debuts and he is a huge force to be reckoned with in bumpers.

2 for me today at Roscommon in the shape of Darwins Fox 7/2 in the 4:35, decent looking Novice Chase and now that Henry De Bromhead looks to have got this fella spot on I think he will be hard to beat having beaten recent winner Nearest the Pin comfortably on his last start over timber, obvious danger lurking with The Real Article, who drops back in trip and Shadow Eile who fell when mounting a challenge against Rebel Fitz last time but I was just taken with Darwins Fox win LTO and am happy to take the 7/2 he can gain back-to-back success. (The Real Article N/R now so R4 beckons)

I will take a chance on Hunting Party 5/2 in the 5:35 to transfer his recent hurdle form to the big obstacles with his introduction to chasing , not much between himself and the favourite Useful Smurfer but Dessie Hughes can have this fella ready to go tonight and with a clean round I expect a winning introduction.

Two singles and the double. Best of luck lads :emoticon-0148-yes:

Darwin's Fox looks a horse heading in the right direction very easy win again and could be wortth following over the season whilst hunting Party ran ok for his first spin over fences also and he will be another winning a beginners chase before soon I would think.

WWell done with the other winners today forumites.

Decent ew way there Bob good shout

Morning all, got a couple that I fancy today.

Hamilton 3.40 Im Super Too 7/1 Drops in trip and back to a track he has won at off higher marks.
Newton Abbot 4.20 Sporting Boy 6/1 First outing for new stable and off a good mark back over hurdles.

Singles and E/W double, good luck all <cheers>

Sporting Boy was an easy winner returned 15/2 BOG, Im Super Too let the double down but still a profitable day is always a good one!

Well done all other winners <cheers>

Ballintotty Boy ran a lovely debut in 3rd in what I think will definitely be a decent bumper in time. Winning favourite well backed and Derek O'Connor got down to his minimum weight of 11 stone to ride John Kiely's debutant who finished 2nd. Nice drift out to 14s.

The money is for Everton tonight in the footy. They were 4/6 when I looked and are now 4/7. I thought 4/6 was short let along 4/7. 3/1 the draw is worth a tenner of my money and 16/1 any goalkeeper being man of the match.

4.20 Drever, not 3.20.

I'm really keen on Escort'men in this - back over hurdles and with juice in the ground, he goes here off a paltry 112. He is still only 7 and as a juvenile he hosed up in the grade 2 Dovecote novices hurdle from the likes of Frascati park and Salden Licht. After running over fences on unsuitably fast ground he finally gets ground with some juice and the smaller obstacles, and quotes of 14s or 16s tonight look more than generous. He could bolt up here.

Moody ****er couldn't quite grab 3rd <doh>

I backed Newcastle Bob just a tenner purely on value 5/1 is too big on a team that is not dissimilar in terms of ability to Everton although I do expect them to be hard to beat
it will give me a bit of invested interest for 90 mins.

Cisse dropped too first time in 11months can't say its a suorise though as he has struggled since Ba's departure.

I got a few mins value anyway...my god Newcastle are terrible but Everton are very impressive on the other hand, Champs Lge contendrrs for sure.
