Does this prove he should have been off much earlier?
When assessing the ban, the dopes at the FA should remember Torres was wrongly given a second yellow by an incompetent referee. As a fan of retrospective video based punishment, I can't moan about the face scratching incident.
4 matches is wrong, and again shows the stupidity of the FA and their brain dead , unbending rules.
**** knows what the op means but I take it's 4 game ban for nando?
good, the judas face scratching fannyboy he is.![]()
you should pity the useless donkey3 games for the dumb scratching incident is fair enough, 4 just highlights the crazy situation the FA get themselves into because of their stupidity. It's one of those where they've tied their hands so it will either be 4 or 1. It will only be 3 games for the scratching, if he gets done for it, but the extra one cannot be appealed(I don't believe) as it was 2 bookings and bookings can only be reversed in cases of mistaken identity.
Barton had a kind of similar situation where the FA treated each incident seperately and banned him for each red card offence he committed against City.
There can't really be any doubts about the violent conduct charge, should he receive it. Plenty of players have been given 3 match bans for leaning their head into another player, it's just unfortunate for Torres that it coincides with another ban that he can't appeal. Not sure how that shows corruption though.
