A good side yet so sterile, can't see anything about Spurs that says anything but Europa cup.

The lack of goals is a real issue for them, they are sound defensively which is the main difference between this season and last. If the top 4 aren't on top of their game, Spurs will definitely be there to pounce but from what I've seen City and Arsenal have improved whilst Chelsea are stronger on paper. If we can avoid **** ups against the likes of Southampton and Reading then results like today and at Everton won't really matter.

Think we have a sizeable chunk of players getting used to the prem...so to be honest this is a pretty steady start...the longer they play in the prem the better theyll get ....hopefully!
I'd have taken 13 points after 6 matches back in august...especially having played 2 of last seasons top 4...and playing away to cardiff (who did city).

I have to agree. Considering the pretty dramatic change in personnel, i think the team is doing very well. They seem solid enough and resilient for a group of relative strangers. Today's result was a fair one i think. Spurs edged the first half, Chelsea the second as the stats show. I have to say i am pleased with how things are developing and see no reason why we can't secure champions league football. I honesty think Spurs are going to go up a gear or two when things click, which they eventually will.

Spurs need to win a trophy to make that breakthrough and challenge the likes of United and chelsea in April and May. Then they can dine at the top table

Or maybe that's the best you've got and you're o a downward spiral. Your manager is already at the point where he's more desperate not to lose than to win. When we tied you up our manager pushed on and wanted the win, yours was desperate for the game to end.

Mourinho won the tactical battle and AVB was very lucky to get away with it. Everyone can see that when you're playing against quality midfields like Arsenal, Chelsea and City you have to play three in midfield. Moyes did the same thing against City and got his fingers burnt.

Once Mata came on and Ramires came inside AVB had no answer and it was only the red card that stopped the onslaught changed momentum back in his favour. The Chadli for Eriksen sub was awful because Eriksen could have won them the game had he stayed on against our 10 men.
