If you want the nod on that one speak to my other half. She thinks he is the "loveliest" horse in the yard! He is as tough as they come and more than capable of winning a very decent race like this.
My most confident bet of the whole flat season tomorrow.
2.35 Newmarket Vorda
Ran a blinder when second behind No Nay Never in France last time and finished comfortably ahead of Rizeena who has since come out and won the moyglare in Ireland beating kiyoshi and joyeuse. Rizeena may have been beaten today but that was a falsely run race. The Albany form has worked out to be one of the strongest form lines this season and on that form line Vorda has the beating of all of these.

He is the loveliest horse in the yard. Love that animal. Had an interrupted season a couple of years back. I think we'd be looking at a 10lb better horse without that interruption.
Just been thinking about this - does Charlie decide who rides what or can owners encouraged to chirp up with their own jockey decisions? If your horse turns out to be the best bumper in the yard would you be happy putting a 10lb claimed on? Kielan Woods is different. They've been managing that claim for two seasons.
There is a disappointing turnout for the Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket with just four rivals showing up to test Paul Cole’s exciting prospect Berkshire, even though he has not seen a racecourse since Royal Ascot. There is a suspicion that Kingfisher is running to give Aidan O’Brien a form line for Australia, who beat this stablemate ten lengths last time. On the ratings, the best horse in the race is Mark Johnston’s Somewhat, who made all in a listed race last time although he was well behind Berkshire at Ascot. Washaar is held on Goodwood form by Gerald Mosse’s mount but has collected a four-runner listed race. With two potential front runners, this looks a watching brief.
The Cheveley Park Stakes has attracted an interesting field of eight, with the form pick arguably the French filly Vorda, runner-up to No Nay Never in the Prix Morny. Chief amongst the home defence is Kiyoshi, dropping back to six furlongs after defeat to Rizeena in the seven furlong Moyglare Stakes. Lady Cecil is represented by Joyeuse, a half-sister to ‘The Greatest’, who accounted for both Dorothy B and Alutiq last time in a listed race. Come To Heel is difficult to assess stepping up from a five furlong listed win at The Curragh. There is no guarantee of pace here and this may be another one just to watch.

Newmarket 3.50pm - Gabrial The Great 25/1 E.W 5 places...
I do enjoy trying to solve a big handicap and the Cambridgeshire is quite a unique race being run over 1 mile 1 furlong - so taketh the challenge!!. Likely to be a ferocious gallop in this tomorrow and my selection requires a strongly run race. Interesting jockey booking for me too and has stall 1 and the rail to help.. His last run dropping back in trip to 8 furlongs was a good effort.
Often the winner of this race has won at 1 mile 2 furlongs and the last 10 winners have carried 9 stone 3 or less so you can take out a chunk of the top horses if you believe in that stat. I see Roto is gonna be on Educate - but I cant see it being soft enough for him.. the same can be said for Chapter Seven who i would have massively fancied if it turned up soft. No rain forecast so i can see the ground being as it was today..
I do quite like the look of Tha'ir and Code of Honour and Jacks Revenge. But I'll stick with my fellow so a sizeable each way bet has been placed.

Noble Storm 12/1
I was really impressed with Noble Storm's victory in a small field Conditions event at Leicester on his latest start when making all at a blistering pace to win comfortably by 2L and if that first win since May 2011 has boosted his confidence then I think he could well defy his current mark of 100. A very decent horse throughout the years for Ed McMahon, this now 7 year old geldings finest moment came over this C+D when winning a Listed contest over 2 years ago and having gone winless for such a long time it was great to see him get back in the winners enclosure with an emphatic victory earlier this month. Over the minimum trip, Noble Storm broke well under Sean Levey and set off at a really quick tempo at the head of the 5 runner field and nothing got close to catching him as he ran out a ready winner in a quick time of just 0.26 seconds above standard on what was a stand out time on the day (did only carry 8-9). Additionally to running a fast time, the form has worked out with runner up Rocky Ground running out an impressive winner of a Conditions Event subsequently at Beverley and Noble Storm certainly seemed back to his best. Now back in a handicap off a mark of 100, judged on his older form and the style of his last race I definitely feel he could be really competitive in this very open looking sprint. Seb Sanders gets the leg up for the first time today on Ed McMahon's gelding and hopefully his draw in stall 5 is the right side if they split into two groups. With McMahon in good form and Noble Storm looking back to his best, hopefully he's able to make all and not see another rival and record back to back victories in this valuable handicap.

The application of first time blinkers worked the oracle on John Hills's talented 4 year old and if they work again today I think he's going to take an awful lot of beating off a mark of 88. A very talented juvenile which saw him finish 6th in the Coventry and 2nd to Champion 2 Year Old Dabirism over in Deauville, B Fifty Two had completely lost his way over the past 2 years finding it very tough as a 3 year old starting the year out rated 105 and he didn't look much better this year but after a very long spell in the doldrums and having fallen a long way in the handicap the decision by John Hills to apply blinkers to B Fifty Two saw him spring right back into life as he ran out a very impressive winner on his latest start at Newmarket by 1.25L. Off a mark of 83 last weekend, B Fifty Two soon led the field under Seb Sanders at a good pace and when asked to quicken he did so for his jockey as he put a little extra daylight between him and the rest of the field. Under a strong hand drive, B Fifty Two ran out a ready winner and comfortable winner by over a length and given that Sanders never had to use the whip on him once clearly suggests that B Fifty Two had a lot more left in the tank. The form of that race last weekend has yet to be tested but the blinkers certainly sparked him back in to life and I think a repeat performance today will see him taking an awful lot of beating. Raised only 5lb for that victory to a mark of 88, B Fifty Two still looks on a very useful mark in comparison to the level he showed as a 2 year old and John Hills had stated on his site before his resurgence that he still worked as well at ever at home and its clear the blinkers rejuvenated his love of racing. There is absolutely a chance that the novelty of headgear may have worn off after only 1 starts but if they haven't then I think he'll take a serious amount of beating at a price that I think is miles too big. In this 17 runner sprint, again you've got to hope he's drawn on the right side in stall 5 if they split into two groups but if showing the same verve for racing as he did last Saturday at Newmarket then he is going to take a huge amount of beating today.
4.50 Chester
Dr Red Eye 14/1
Going to keep this nice and short but I think Scott Dixon's course lover Dr Red Eye looks an absolutely huge price at 14/1 having fallen to his last winning mark of 90 and being drawn really well in stall 4 to attempt to customarily make all. A real lover of sharp tracks, Dr Red Eye absolutely flourished back in the spring when he won 3 on the bounce (twice over C+D) which saw him rise from an initial mark of 78 to score off 90 at the 3rd attempt here at Chester back in May before undoubtedly putting in a career best when beaten less than a length in a Listed contest again over his favoured C+D back in July. Since then, he has been disappointing in 4 starts (once over C+D; drawn too wide in 12) but the handicapper has relented for those efforts which have seen him fall 5lb in a short space of time to a mark of 90 which is the same rating he held when scoring in a better race here back in May and now back on a winning mark at his favourite venue I think a much better performance is on the cards. Well drawn in stall 4 for his attacking style, if talented 5lb claimer Tim Clark can get him to the front and judge the fractions correctly then this 5 year old Dr Red Eye could prove quite difficult to peg back and 14/1 may look huge at 4.55 this afternoon.

Two of my main fancy`s tomorrow are over the sticks at Market Rasen, in the first Alan Kings Duroble Man is highly thought of and they hope he is there Triumph Hurdle horse. No prices atm but I will be backing him to win a race in which King has a good record in.
In the 3.25 I like the look of O`Crotaigh 8/1, price looks big imo at a C+D were he has run 5 times and won 4. He has won off a 1lb higher mark over C+D and a retrun to this C+D can see him go well again at a decent price.

In the 2.50 at Market Rasen I'm going to take a chance that the talented and often underrated Malcolm Jefferson's loving hands can get King Of The Night back on track. Whilst under the care of Paul Nicholls he turned a competitive Pertemps Qualifier into a procession and hacked up on the snaff off a rating of 143, and was subsequently given an entry in the Coral Hurdle when rated 157. Whilst that may have been a little fanciful, the Lomitas gelding is clearly talented and he was switched to novice chasing under Harry Fry last season. After a decent debut behind Carlito Brigante and Domtaline he was pitched in at the deep end in the Grade 2 Rising Stars Novices Chase at Wincanton but nothing went right for him that day and he was allowed to come home in his own time. His subsequent 2nd place behind Theatrical Star looks a decent effort (winner has won again since) but his final effort for Fry at Haydock was disappointing and may have been the reason for the change of yard. He comes into this on a mark of 132 and that could look very lenient if the change of scenery and Jefferson's work have rekindled his flame. Track, trip and going should all suit and he is worth a decent e/w dabble at around the 14/1 mark.

Always a fantastic atmosphere at celtic park for champions league matches.I dont think this years celtic team is as good as last year so dont expect another barca scalp!i'd pay the entry ticket alone just to see messi in action!enjoy the game!Got me ticket for Celtic V Barca so I'm a happy camper!
