Players can be added in Jan but it's just like any injury I guess and you can't make changes for any other injuries so I very much doubt it.

Marco van Ginkel underwent a successful operation on his right knee today in Barcelona. He tore off his ACL last Tuesday in the match in the League Cup match against Swindon Town.
The operation took place in Barcelona. On Wednesday afternoon Van Ginkel and the team doctor of Chelsea flew to Spain where he underwent his surgery Thursday afternoon. Van Ginkel: "The medical staff at Chelsea deserves credit for the way they treated me the past couple of days. I've got good faith that I will recover from this injury in due time in London."

Van Ginkel: "This is a blow to me, I heard something snap and I could feel something was wrong immediately." Bla bla bla more on him getting more minutes lately and he got support from his teammates.
Van Ginkel's doctors, who are very experienced with this type of injury, say he will be out for at least six months.

Wasn't going to be selected by a country mile mate. Sneijder, VdVaart, Wijnaldum, Fer, Maher, Strootman, Stijn Schaars, Jonathan de Guzman, Nigel de Jong were all above him in the pecking order. He made a good run last season but after this summer, was not even close to making the selection. Was in the early selection for the friendly with Portugal but was dropped later on.
