Morning,

Its a bit later than normal, but Ol Elland's been at the Doctors. Had some bloods taken and had my blood pressure taken. I've now got low blood pressure <doh>, I can't win. 2 Years ago, it was 197/116, now its 106/60.

So, 3 losses in a row, that's not good. BUT, if we dissect the result, we lost 2-0 away from home to a Premiership team, we had hit the post, and Smith was very unlucky not to score.

If we have a look at all the other loses in the league, our worst result is only losing by one goal.

Surely, we are in a better state then where we have been over previous seasons.

Lets hope we can add to our squad in the next few days....

Morning Elland. Hope I'm wrong, but I think some peoples views are being clouded by our love affair with McD. We lost to a half reserve Newcastle team who are struggling in the Pl. Weve lost four out of five but as were not losing as bad as last season, somehow it's ok. McD refusing to sign a striker yet as itll have to be someone that would improve the team. So basically he's saying he cant find better than Smith, Varney or Hunt anywhere. Guess why, cos theres no money to buy quality. Little about this season has been acceptable to me and Im angry at how easily pleased some fans seem to have become. What happens if we lose Saturday, will we see the same rubbish we see most weeks, the Wallies will be right up there at the end of the season in the promotion hunt. Look, I didnt expect a lot this season really, but to date, it's been marginally better than last which was atrocious. Before anyone says it, Eires angry this morning

Morning Elland, morning those joining. 2-0 wasn't too bad. We had our chances and we weren't turned over by a PL team at home. Sounded a decent game. Back to normality on Saturday.

We need a convincing win against the 'Wall. Let's hope Mowatt plays again. By the sound of things, he had a good game last night. That said, Murphy might react to having been dropped and really justify his transfer fee. Either way, I'm hoping for a minimum of 3-1 Leeds.

Morning Elland. Low blood pressure FFS it's unbelievable isn't it. Hope everything sorts itself out bud.

I think Newcastle are a poor premier side, yes I know they played some fringe players but still if we had had a decent winger or creative midfielder we may have got a better result. But at least we've a handy one on Sat...

I've said it before, why spent a million on Murphy when we could have got Rowe and Burke for that.

A little miffed are we this morning Eire? What ales thee?
Probably old age Boggers. I promise to hold fire till Saturday evening but if we lose to the wallies, there better be a fire extinguisher near my keyboard and you lot better get earplugs cos I will unleash years of pent up anger in one fell swoop. There

I see there is a link on Wiziwig.tv for the Wall game....more ale for me, better pace myself on the Friday for the Rhinos ..<party>

Because Murphy will be a class act in a year or so with a sell on value over the £1m we bought him for.

Eire, if we were to lose or draw against the 'Wall, you'll be in a bit of a cue for requiring a fire extinguisher or needing to hand out earplugs.

Morning all

Not too bothered about the league cup so win or loose couldnt care either way. Its about the league for me.

If we dont get a result a result against the Wall i wont be best pleases. They might have to ration the fire extinguishers

Morning all

I'll be far more concerned if our losing streak continues this weekend. We're still crying out for those wide players though. I know Burke had been banded around here as still a completely outside possibility to come in, but sounds like he had a great game against Swansea last night so that's the final nail in that very unlikely one I think.

McD reckoned he wasnt worth spending 600k on. Strange decision regardless what length of contract he had remaining

Burke was outstanding at the weekend too apparently, as he set up the new kid for his 4 goals <grr>

Couldn't be arsed with the cup as we would never win it, and getting beat by a poor prem team isn't great news, but not important. I'm more concerned about stopping the rot because it will be 4 losses on the bounce if the wall do us.

Maybe Brian is going to have to go into the loan market, because even though the players say they are all in it together and we know we're harder to beat, we are still getting beat. Yes better than last season but last season was a shambles and an improvement isn't enough. We are already at least 3 wins behind the top 6 place which will go to 4 wins this weekend if we lose. catching up a 12-point deficit is almost impossible, so the season written off this weekend for many Leeds fans unless we win.

Morning all ... look, we were not destroyed last night, matched Newcastle, difference was they had more quality when it mattered. Big plus is Mowatt having another good outing, and Byram back playing. As for a striker ... Fryatt on his way from Hull.

Luke Murphy was invested in because he is young, and has plenty of potential. He will come good, don't worry.

Billy why Fryatt as he's done nothing for 12-months, hence him not playing. Why would Brian go in for him anyway when we need a bit of class, guile and wing work. I think Brian has to stick with the strikers he brought in because if he doesn't it shows his judgement was wrong. He brought in Hunt and Smith and early days but Hunt isn't doing it and Smith isn't as good as were told. Put Ross up top and bring in a winger

As expected Billy Sharpe signs for Reading until January when he'll be signed ona 3-year deal. Neil Danns signs for Bolton, so they have a really good squad if Dougie can get them going.

Still nobody coming to ER
