Supposedly to Lady Astor. However, there are so many variations of what was supposedly said that it is likely that the 'incident' was invented to illustrate Churchill's acid wit/ability to find a retort.

My first meeting of the day yesterday was with an avid scouse kopite (rare I know), I was a Monday morning nightmare for him after that weekend. <laugh>

Tobes lad if you're banned off the Liverpool board you'll be left talking to yourself - unless you get a sudden found interest in Swansea and they'll let you on their board until you disagree with someone, so you should last at least a day on there .... <laugh>
