Think it will take more than that for the pressure to be on, if we fail to win any of the 3 away games at the 3 top London teams or even lose to Arsenal at OT in 6 weeks or so most will be out for his head , but its still early days yet.
You've had worse starts to a season admittedly, in 3 of the 20 title triumphs you've only won 2 of your 1st 6 games. The difference being of course, the manager. Ferguson could extract the best from a group of players like no other manager can. Dunno how he did all those years.
Haven't they had their allocation cut to 6,000? Some sort of tit-for-tat spat with Utd, IIRC. If The Bitey One has a big return then it could really cause Moyes some short-term grief, though. Can't help but feel he's going to do something, whether it's score the winner or get sent off.
so ..who do we want to win in the OTHER game tomorow ? ...............and dont say draw.! Lets say ONE of them has to win . Which would you prefer ?
It may be , but we would all lol heartily...... such is the " neutral " view towards united. NO ONE , but united fans ever want them to win .
If I have to pick one winner, then I would have to go for Chelsea, just to disrupt the good run Spurs are currently on.
If both teams get 4 players sent off before a fight breaks out between Terry and Dembele (Terry says something racist) resulting in both of them being sent off... I think both teams forfeit the match for having less than 7 players.
I think it's more likely arsenal will start dropping off. You're only an injury or two away from it, lets be honest. I suppose only time will tell.
I'm confident the spuds will find a new and inventive way to bottle it again this season, they just have it built into their psyche. Whether it's Lasagna-gate, Fulop-gate, Sugar-gate, they just don't seem to have that winning mentality. A draw would be best for us today, but I just can't sit and watch a game being a neutral. So as much as I want to see the Chavs drop points, I'd rather see them do the spuds at WHL, as it will be a big confidence shaker to lose at home.
So we will find a new way to bottle it? Surely then that makes chelsea your rivals in the race for the league...therefore a win for them is a problem for you....unless you think that you and us will be fighting out for 4th again with city chelsea and united fighting out the top 3
Regardless of historic Spurs hate between both North London clubs, anyone who ever wants Chelsea to win doesn't realise the kind of negative impact they've made to the Prem and to our club. They were the first club to systematically buy themselves to regular premiership champions. Take away the money and they wouldn't have won much, and we wouldn't have gone through as bad a time. So really, Cheslea has done more damage to us than Spurs has ever done for the past 20 or so years.
