We need Suarez, Ford, Sturridge and Moses maybe not all the pitch at the same time but to be available to change games. With those resources, only City can claim to be better provided for.

or Chelsea.( bar the striker atm) <ok>

I agree though with the point. We need these guys back and fighting fit! Isn't Suarez back for Wednesday?

I just don't see why people label Luis as a 'team' creator. He creates chances for his self but rarely for others. Maybe someone could provide a 'chances created' vs 'games played' stat?

I have never said that Suarez is a team creator. He is however a focal point for the team. His drive and enthusiasm does 'lift' other players. He can occupy more than 1 defender in the box and thereby create space an opportunity for others. Finally he can score goals that the others can't.

look anyone can see that if you take out an anonymous aspas and put in a luis suarez the team no longer plays with 10 men but now has a world class player in there. end of....

LFc tried and failed with an experiment on Saturday 4 cbs will now be 2 cbs in the next match and we'll pick someone at RB no question like wisomd or kelly. skertl will eb dropped for toure and agger is in severe danger of the chop too.

In short no more passengers, no more quiet players who do their own jobs and no more. we need all the team performers and world calss players we can get out there.

Oh and finally we also saw an attmept to play out form the back that totally exposed mingolet as an excellent conventional goalkeeper but lousy with ball at feet. We'll not be passing it back there again.... hell his kick outs and clearances didn't go within 20 yards of an LFC target.

Mingolet
Kelly Toure sahko Enrique
Lucas Gerrard Henderson
Suarez Sturridge Moses

thats'll be our line up if we really want to win something this year and with coutinho, johnson and allen to come in....

Agreed, that is something i was attempting to say over the weekend; he's not going to be a direct replacement for Coutinho, but he is an alternative option / approach.

I should have quoted Jimmy in my comment really as I was responding to this:

The way I see it is that our attack needs 2 players for us to win games/score goals - the striker (Sturridge) and the creator (Coutinho/Suarez).

Ideally, I would like all 3 starting but as long as we have 2 of the 3, we have enough quality to score goals. This has been proven when we had Sturridge and Coutinho striking a great partnership over the past few months, also between Sturridge and Suarez in the first month he arrived, and Suarez and Coutinho when Sturridge was out injured.

I'd put Suarez in the striker mound more than the creator, and I'm sure people know my feelings on labeling Luis a striker too <laugh>

I know what you're saying - he's versatile in that he can do both. But he does create chances - they may not be clear cut but he drives into the box, occupies defenders, draws tackles in the box and creates space.
