"Everton and Tottenham are interested in veteran German striker Miroslav Klose, who is a free agent after his Bayern Munich contract expired." Quoted from the Daily Mirror: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...-of-contract-Bayern-Munich-article743809.html Now that is exciting news, it's a real shame that melted candle head is interested too.
Really, does anyone think he would do a job? Someone posted goals figures of 4/6 in 40 plus games over two seasons here a few days ago for Klose. Hardly the prolific striker we need is he!
Could be true, however I would prefer to spend the cash on a nice extended deal for Fellaini. Would like to have a season of Saha and Beckford managing 25 games as a partnership also
I totally agree, Saha & Beckford upfront together for 25+ games would be the solution (and free!). Although I really do worry that Saha's never going to be fit again.
I think Ba would be the better option but might as well have Klose as well if we can afford the wages- may sell some shirts in Germany
Tottenham will get him over us, even if he doesn't play again. It'll be a case of klose but no cigar again.
Hmmm the winding down striker wants to see out his last contract in the north of England, in a dismal climate, in the toughest league on the planet where he may even struggle to make an impact....or he can kick back on the Spanish coast worrying about only a couple of tough matches a season and the remainder nice tippy tappy jobs lapping up the sunshine. Hmmmm banks of the Mersey or the Med coastline.....there's a toughie for a 33yr old striker in his last hurrah!.
Tough choice. His potential neighbours might help make his mind up... please log in to view this image
