A recent article in the Kentucky Post reported that a woman, one Anne Maynard, has sued St Luke's hospital, saying that her husband had treatment there, and afterward, he lost all interest in sex. A hospital spokesman replied ... "Mr. Maynard was admitted in Ophthalmology – all we did was correct his eyesight."
Would love that to be true. Defo getting wartmer in the next few days so who knows. The forecasters never do!
An Indian summer is defined as a period of warm weather after the first autumnal frost. Met Office spokesperson Lindsay Mears said that it was too early to say how long the clement weather would last, but added: “There is warm air moving in. At this time of year the strength of the sun means if can feel quite warm.” In the meantime, today is likely to be quite cold, particularly in the Midlands where the temperatures may not reach double figures.
