**** you That's the first time I've mentioned that you're a 'badger lover'. saint and sky got the same message
The problem seems to be we move the ball around well first half which requires the players to be constantly on the move which is tiring. The opposition sit back and defend. In the second half as we tire the opposition come out and push us back were we seem to camp out. A lack of quality on the bench also means when tired players are replaced the sub is not good enough to play the style BR wants and we end up after a few substitutions with a disorganised mess with half the team still trying to play as we did in the first half and the rest being either to tired to play that way or not good enough.
I went to the pub at lunch and they were showing a re-run of the build-up to the match with Carra and the ****. Even with the sound off, you could see from the stats analysis how much we really do drop off in the second half.
When Stokesea target our most creative players for injury in their half time talk because they noticed the referee did nothing to check their aggression in the first half it doesn't help either. When Williams started on Gerrard after a fair challenge he should have spoken to the referee, not for himself since he can handle it, but as the captain wanting protection for the rest of the team.
