    Blue,

Not everyone who hates the red wants us to play in league 2. The opening post simply stated they liked the red shirt. I hate it.

VT does deserve thanks for what he has done, but as most of us now understand, he could have done the same thing, done the same marketing, without changing the colour and badge.

Still life goes on whether I hate the strip or badge, though it has taken a shine of this season for me personally.

Mind you, I am one of those who doesn't care if we get relegated. In some ways I hate all the hoopla and egos that the PL brings to the table :)

I suppose there must be something of an attraction being a member of a minority - personally I'd be gutted.

On the colour change front, it's been done to death on the forums.

I must admit I miss the hurly burly of the Championship with the Saturday/Tuesday regular game turnaround. While we were at the top or thereabouts it ensured continued interest and enthusiasm (most of the time anyway).

I know international weeks cause a buggeration factor but in September and October we only have 3 games per month and November is only marginally better with 4.

There is just so long between games that, for me, it feels like a stop/go league. Great for those with European interest or if a home based cup run can be achieved. Whether or not we can do the latter we will see next week although I expect Malky will field the second string team.

Sorry for extending off topic but Masky made a very good point and as Sparks said the colour thing has been done to death, we are where we are, there is no point crying over spilt milk as VT isn't going to backtrack anytime soon. When VT eventually moves on then whoever takes over will have a no brainer in winning universal support by returning to blue. That however, I hope, is some time in the future as VT continues to create something we could only dream of 4/5 years ago.

It's all about principal. Why change from blue to red, knowing that no CCFC supporter wanted to? Truth is the new owner obviously doesn't give a **** about local fans or the teams history, and that's got to hurt.

A team ,like Wales, changing the colour of their shirts for the short term is a very different situation.

Has the red shirt actually brought in any extra income yet? Have they given any real numbers (as opposed to expectation)?

Someone on here posted that you can't take away the history etc - I think that's the best way to deal with it

Despite our local rivalry from across the bridge, I hope you do well this season.

We all know big business and principles are mutually exclusive...

I really do not think extra income was in the equation, more to do with luck....

And who knows what would have happened if we had stayed with blue? What is fact is that we changed to red and got the promotion we had unsuccessfully chased for several years. Luck, chance, better manager and players who knows?

The most important thing is we have moved onwards and upwards.

As for extra income, no figures have been produced but as anticipated attendances have improved season on season and there are a lot of red shirts out there - still a lot of blue ones too and I have no problem with that. However income overall will have increased.

In fact if VT or his successor changed back to blue I would have no issues with that either. We will still be Cardiff City.

I wouldn't be gutted Sparkey because of all the things that have happened to the club that getting relegated is hardly the end of the world :) Besides I do not wish we were relegated, I just said I wouldn't cry about it!

That is something we all agree on :)
