He did make an impact. But the strange thing about him is he doesn't seem to be able to control the ball in front of himself. He always wants it directly under his body for close control. But he either runs off without the ball or simple doesn't have that control. He needs to bosh it forwards and run after it. Just fling it past the defender and off you go.

Thers s a saying in hockey that he handles the puck like its a hand grenade.

SWP is the footballing version of that, he is literally a pub footballer who can run fast and has somehow stolen a living in football.

His shots are hilarious, they are either dragged low and left or end up in the top tier because he has no technique. I'll celebrate the day he's no longer draining 60k a week out of QPRs bank account, same goes for Zamora.

Yes SPB, I must admit I've passed non favourable comment on SWP many a time but hey, I even had him down to score the winning goal this week but common sense got the better of me and I retracted it.
However, if they double the goal size and gave the keeper a dose of Epson salts ............. well, I can tell you that I'll be one of the first to back this guy to score.

In the meantime, a good solid effort from him week to week will do fine.
    Go you good thing !

He is a threat at this level and he is looking more confident. He can play on the left or right because he can't cross with either foot<whistle>

That is the modern thinking...............not just Harry.
SWP played on the right when he came on.

Philips is a RW but played on the left didnt he? SWP only played on the right because we had no left footer on.

I have never seen Townsend play on the left, Hoilett on the right or in fact any player on their correct wing unless we had 2 right footers on at the same time and of course someone had to play on the correct wing.

Makes no sense when we play 2 six footers up front.

Routledge is as one footed as you can get, right footed, but plays on the left for the Swans. He dosent even try to cross with his left but uses the outside of his right foot to cross whenever he dosent turn inside.

He may have the ability to cross like that but SWP? He struggles to use his right foot properly.
