Liverpool were much better than Villa in the first half when they played them, then they seemed to run out of ideas and steam.
Is that an ongoing thing with this side?
 
this is the type of result which can help Swansea kick on if they can stay in the game as they have looked flat at times but they are a class team. Plus Shelvey is actually a fab player, even if he has bi-polar!

Yeh I rate him. He was brilliant for the England u21's vs the Scots.

I felt that today may not be the best one to get out my Yay Shelvey Banner though.... <whistle>
 
Rodgers needs to change something. Swansea are very much on top at the moment. A few players walking a tightrope with the ref, too.
Still look vulnerable to some loose play, though.

Looking at their bench though, what would you suggest?

I can only see like for like-ish with Sterling for Moses?

There first team + a few subs are very good, but they don't have the depth we do, or players that can change a game/style/formation.
 
That's what he's done. Might give them an outlet and you'd hope he'd offer a little more defensively, as Moses wasn't doing his job there.
 
Liverpool are really hanging on here. No European football for them though, so they get a rest for the next game.

Yes, Spurs only a point off the top, but Utd only 3 adrift, level with the magnificent Chelsea and City, despite the doom and gloom, the botched transfer window, the tough fixture list etc etc.

Be afraid.
 
I think that's one of your problems, Lidls. With Ferguson gone the fear seems to be diminished in your opponents and increased in your own camp.
