If Hatem keeps up his current form I remain convinced the bigger clubs will look to make a January bid for him. Some of the so called 'big 4' have had a stuttering start to this season so I expect lots of cash to be thrown a round come January.

Do you think he's be a stayer or a goer in January....?

...and what price do you think we would let him go for if he was?

I think he genuinely likes it here so I don't think he'd leave for anyone except the top 5. Even though he likes it here he probably would leave if it meant Champions League football.

If he keeps up his current form, bidding begins at £20M

The decent thing would be to offer him a new contract now. Then any interested club will know that the only way they'll get him is if they pay a ridiculous sum.

Letting him go could cost us more than we'd get for him in the transfer market. He's a potential match winner and somebody we need to maintain our Premier League status.

TBH I don't think he'll leave for any team in England:

Citeh - not a big enough name, and not a classic winger which appears to be Pellegrini's preference
Chelsea - definitely not a Mourinho player, and they already have too many AMs anyway
Manure - not a Moyes type of player, he prefers dependability rather than genius
Arsenal - don't need any more AMs, and not Wenger's style
Spurs - WAY to many AMs
Liverpool - not too much of a step up, not a Rodgers player and I can't see them spending big on one of ours again...

TBH the only team I can see signing him is PSG, and he has made it known in the past that he is a PSG fan. They certainly have the money, and he is an entertainer, which their management seem to love. That's where the threat is, not from anyone in England

A new 80k contract over 6 years and a 40m price tag will keep him here until he's 30+. Yes he's far to good for us, but it makes me laugh how everyone expects him to beat 5 players and score every single time he gets the ball. I think he's actually to good for our far too expectant fans.

However take a look at Nani. Would the top teams put up with HBA? You also have to look at the fact he is best off at Newcastle over any other team. Hes the star player, the fans love him, all his friends are here and its his best chance of making the world cup. It would be a crying shame for a man of his ridiculous talents to be warming the bench in a CL side

Credit where its due to Pardew for giving him a free role and getting him to sort his life out.
