Good game lad . Upped the tempo and you did well.
    There I said it.

I take it all back from before

However - if you are clearly in a 5 man midfield and you have 3 playmakers happy on the ball in the middle
Please Please Please Please Please don't come inside as you did time after time
You need space to play and could have destroyed the aging yet competent left back if you'd really had a go

SWP confidence is growing and I would always defend him as I think he is a very clever player

They all do it, its Redknapps tactics to play a left footer on the right and a right footer on the left (although I dont know which side SWP played last game) so we get exactly zero crosses and the defenders just show everyone inside into trouble.

He's going to play a big part this season.

    But clever he is not!

The game changed when he came on......now that is something I thought I would never type.....we were better balanced than during the first half and he provided the initial width to play from the back.......ok he did tend to cut inside a little too often but he was probably doing as instructed.....think he needs to trust his own instincts a bit more and take defenders on, but that will come in time when he realises that we actually have a midfield capable of keeping possession....

I think that was more to do with that donkey Zamora coming off, hes really that bad. Plus the change of formation, Im sure we could have bought on any winger for the better.

What happened to the positive Flyer of last week......was it a 1 post wonder!!!!!!

I felt a bit sorry for Zamora because he was trying , but hopeful balls were being hit up to him and Brum had 2 giant centre halves who won everything in the air......It doesn't help when his first touch is like concrete when played on the floor.....he should have had that operation in the summer....

I thought that Saturday's performance was the best we've seen from SWP for some time.

Spot on! Finally seems to have shaken the monkey from his back. Just needs to add a few more goals to his game for me. Even if he doesnt start each week he's a great player to bring on for the final 30 minutes against a tiring full back!

With the two Phillips running on the flanks, we could be back to the good old days of Roger & Ian Morgan with Rodnee banging the goals in - now Charlie Austin for us.

The only time I'll be positive about Zamora ism when the club announce he's done form the season, he's hamstrung us so bad but its not his fault, its the managers.

Zamora should have had the op, been out for nine months and come back for the last few months.

And he still cut inside all the time? He's even less intelligent than I thought. There could be some excuse coming inside onto his strong foot but why do it onto his weaker foot?

Has scored against Chelsea and had a goal wrongly disallowed against WBA and that's about it for god knows whatever he is earning, never liked nor rated him and never will, just read Warnock's book to see what a complete arrogant tool he is. Has no football brain whatsoever in fact he doesn't have one full stop.

You didn't have to read his book to find that out. COLIN was always an arrogant tool :)
