Get that leg shaking Shaky... what's behind that Green Door... Well all the other runners after that...
14:10 Doncaster - Shwaiman Impressive LTO and low weight might compensate for up in class. Plenty of stamina in pedigree. GL all!
Put up Goat Castle a few months ago on here after having a tip from someone with a loose connection to the yard - ran a stinker!! Noticed it was running today but dismissed the race as a no bet and it goes and wins at 7/1 lol!!
Alright guys, quite fancy times up today in the 14;40 at donny. Don't think anyone has put anything else up in the race, so could be a good sign... Got a link for racing uk(sandown) if anyone needs it. http://nutjob.eu/njtvx4.html
I think I've put him up about half a dozen times over the last 2 years The Twister must have real faith with the ropey old bugger. Was a maiden after 31 runs prior today.
That was an impressive performance by Ihtimal in the May Hill, granted the race was moderately run. I would not be in any hurry to back her for the 1000 Guineas as she may turn out to be more of an Oaks filly; and there is every chance that Godolphin will take her to Dubai and run her in the Festival if she progresses well enough over the winter there. If they go for the Fillies’ Mile, she may meet up with that promising filly trained by Sir Michael Stoute. Now what was that one called?...
4.25 Doncaster Yeeoow 10/1 This race looks like a classic race of seasoned handicappers and a lot of the field don't look on anything other than fair marks and I think Karl & Elaine Burke's relatively unexposed and well thought of 4 year old Yeeoow looks on a very exploitable mark and he shaped as if he was coming right back to his best in the Stewards Cup Consolation race on his last start. Very progressive in handicaps for the most part, Yeeoow shot up the handicap over the pace of the year from a mark of 77 to 94 with 2 wins and 3 2nd in 6 runs and undoubtedly his best effort to date came when winning a competitive handicap at Ascot off a 2lb lower mark of 90 when bravely squeezing through a gap to win by a neck as he looked like a sprinter massively on the upgrade. After that victory, for which he was raised to a mark of 94, the Burke's stated they felt he would be "very competitive in the Wokingham if he got in" and that they'd "look to get him a penalty to get him in" which just shows how highly he is regarded. He didn't get into the Wokingham and things haven't really gone as expected since then but he hasn't been awful either. He's been seen running on late in the day at the Curragh and Hamilton (never dangerous) but he looked as if his turn was very near when finishing beaten 3L in the Stewards Cup Consolation on his last start at the start of August. For his 4 runs since his win at Ascot, he's fallen 2lb back to a mark of 92 which is just 2lb above the mark he scored off and there is no doubt in my mind he is better than this mark if at his best. Although untested on ground with a cut, his pedigree suggests he'll be fine on it and I think he'll enjoy the change in surface and I think the 6.5f trip looks very beneficial as he is often a strong finisher over the bare 6f. The Burke set up have their horses in really good order and have the services of the fine Danny Tudhope on board and a great draw in stall 13. He should get a good tow into the race from Elusive Flame and having already run pretty well at Doncaster before I think he looks primed for a very big performance.
thats racing--must be honest--i dismissed goat castle as a one pace plodder, who for 31 races has been--chankillo set the race up for him--nice handicap debut--i'm sure the shrewd handler will find a suitable race next time-- couldn't understand the 33/1 price--bore no semblance to its chance....
I'd be very, very surprised if 4.50 Sandown Anya 11/2 is out of the first 3 and represents a big each way for me. Make sure your bookie has taken out 2nd fav Pleasure Bent so you don't get a Rule 4. RFC with Dixies Dream too who should also be in the frame.
Nice shout Wooly No harm done in 3rd with Yeeoow. Still looks like something isn't 100% clicking with him though. Will leave him be for a while now until they get him spot on.
ive done a small e/w on dellbuoy- in the last at sandown--will hopefully appreciate the drop in grade--likes cut..
