Despite what Pete Swan said in that article, when we haven't got a game, I love Burnsey and Swanee on the Hull City Player commentaries - they're worth a listen. <ok>
 
I think Saturday will actually be a measure of how far we have come.

Both sides promoted and since strengthened. Who has done the better business?

All to be revealed about 4.50 pm on Saturday.

This is already a big game for both of the sides. How different an encounter will this be to the final day thriller last season, where all the pressure was on Hull?

To pick up your point Bluey, it will be a measure of how far each side has integrated it's new signings.

Mightily imptessed by Bruce's guys against Man City. No points for them in their game whereas we took all 3, but they played very well and IMO were very very unlucky especially in the first half.

Expecting Malky to continue battening down the hatches at Hull. If we can score though, they seem to have difficulty in finding the net. Could be a classic 0-1 Prem type win for the correct City.
 
Not my fault although it seems a good way of making a point. Blame it on the IT as opposed to the boogie!!!

Every time a pressed the send button the system told me I was leaving the page and my comments might not be saved. I copied, checked to see if the thread had updated, including refreshing, and when no updates were visible I started again and pasted my original comment. Clearly this occurred 4 times before my comments appeared and I thought all was okay. <doh>

Hope your prediction is right Sparks although if we keep on playing the Custer's Last Stand game at some stage those bloody Sioux are going to slaughter us.

Each club must be looking for the other to be one of the clubs to finish lower in the table come May. Long season, but 3 points for either on Saturday will go a long way toward that.

I know it's obvious, but in terms of winning points, the first half dozen games are just as important as the last half dozen in the run in. Points dropped now can never be regained, and although it wont define the season, Saturday is a big, big game for both sides.
 
Bit of a worry, Marshall off at half time for Scots. Can't find out if injured or just subbed - the latter being very unlikely.

Could be time for Lewis to step up to the plate. <yikes>
 
The trouble Hull seeem to still have now is much the same as they had last season. Good passing and movement but no cutting edge up front - that nearly cost them the auto spot last year.

Both our clubs finished the season without a double figure goal scorer, and both still managed auto promotion. The difference with us was we could score from midfield with relative ease and that made us Champions, whereas Hull were taken down to the wire.

We know Danny Graham can score goals but has struggled in the Prem. If he gets his eye in on Saturday, that could give them the edge, but I'll take Fraizer up front any day despite the fact that many Hull posters don't rate him. Maybe that's more to do with the history between him and them rather than an objective stance.

We'll see - roll on League football again this weekend now this international stuff has gone back into hibernation for a while.
 
It's a bigger game for them imo. Home games against your 'bottom 6-8' rivals will be crucial. I'd take a point away from home anywhere in this division and it will put us on our way to taking 4 points from them.

I think this game really is there for either side, it'll be interesting to see if MM fancys having a go at a team that is obviously more on our level than our previous 3 matches. Like Sparks touches on though, I think it'll be a another very solid, play for the clean sheet, performance.

A win would be a fantastic result for us and turn a very good start into a "superb/better than we could have hoped for" one.
