It's a short price but Eye of the Storm looks very exciting tomorrow at Galway. 11/8 with Paddy tonight and I think that is really good value.
Big call Bob at that price. He looks perfect on form and breeding and has Shirley Heights on his distaff side but I wasn't sure he looked like a true stayer in the Guardian Classic Trial although that form looks rock solid in the context of this listed event. Interesting that AO'B fields last years winner of this race as well...looks a muy trappy event to me but a cracker for a Monday in September. You taken the plunge into wedlock yet?
Not yet mate. Next August. I'm still trying to persuade the other half to go away for it. Having no luck at all!
Morning, team. Hope everyone well. I’ve deployed the ‘no bet’ banner this morn but one interesting thing that I do note is that MUNJAZ is entered in a couple of maidens later in the week (Donny on Thursday and Sandown Park on Friday) and looks set to have the second run of his career later this week. He qualifies on the same ‘system’ as Radiator in that he was entered to run in a Listed heat, at the 5 day stage, whilst still unraced. Will his second outing be as good as Sir Michael's fillys?!? Meanwhile, in other news I see that PUNJABI has left Mr Henderson’s for the Pipe’s. The forum’s favourite trainer advocated retiring the old boy, his owner did not, and therefore pastures new are sought. Ridiculous decision as (a) what can those old rogues do that Mr Henderson can’t??? Answer, nothing, and (b) a horse who has achieved what Punjabi has owes connections nothing and shouldn’t be made to race for comparative peanuts. Good luck, all.
Surely the question should be; What can the Pipe team do that Nicky Henderson and his vet can't eh Barney
Cap Elorn, Go Amwell and Western Way......all horses I put up last time out.....and I haven't had a sodding bet today!!!!
