    Off to QPR?

Any truth in this, £7m for Jenas would be a good bit of business, and if Wilson does the offski to Lazio and replace the two with Parker, I'd be very happy indeed.

    COYS.

Good to get rid of them tbh. They're part of the oversized squad we've got

I read that news today about Jenas, it put a great big smile on my face. The guy is taking up a valuable place in the 25 man squad of this team that is moving on to bigger and better things. IMO he has been taking up this spot for too many years, he is not the standard of player we need. So yes send him to QPR and watch them go back down and take Jenas with them.

There's no way we'll get £7mill for Jenas, surely?

Keane still has some life left in him as he is at the age now where he is getting more wiser and he is still the best striker we have at the club in terms of forming a partnership, if we had keane upfront with a big man this season then we would have got 4th.

As for Jenas, good squad player but think his time at spurs has come to an end and 7 million? would be a result!

Not so sure about Keane. He's had numerous chances and failed miserably. He had chances at West Ham too.

I'd happily see Keane and Crouch leave. Maybe even Defoe if we could replace them with two strikers who can consistantly perform. Next season is too important to be giving players chances, we need performances else we'll lost Modric and Bale...

If we can somehow recoup what we paid for Jenas to begin with, not only would I be surprised but also glad to see him leave - since he stopped chipping in with the occasional goal, he hasn't offered any end product, whilst his backwards/sideways passing is both the exact opposite to the way the rest of the squad play, and also responsible for breaking up a few counter attacks without the opposition having to try.

I guess the fee is inflated because of his "experience" - but just because he's played over 250 PL games doens't make him a £7m player.

I'd keep Jenas, he seems content in being a squad player and you never hear him moan about it.

    Croatia......
Why would you keep him, even as a squad player. We need to get rid of the deadwood and bring in the kind of player thats going to push us onto the next level. He is no such player, why would we want a player that is happy to sit on the bench? We want players to be challenging each other for places, making the whole team step up their game.
I believe we have one more season with our better players if we do not qualify for the CL next season. Let's get all our players really hungry and determined to keep their place in the squad. Jenas poses no threat to any of the starting XI, therefore not even worth a spot on the bench IMO

So you want 25 players that all expect to play every week? That will never work.

That's not what I'm saying. That is the problem at City.
Is Jeans really the type of player that we want, he is happy to sit on the bench. When he does come on he does nothing. We have to have a type of player that is going to push the likes of Modric, VDV, THUDD, to play the best they can every week so that they won't lose their place to one of the fringe players. We need the sort of player who can impact a game when called upon and Jenas just doesn't to that

Why pay his wages every week if all he's going to do is sit on the bench (if he's lucky)! I wouldn't mind if he had something to offer, but he offers nothing these days. I'd rather put one of the up coming younger on the bench tbh, cheaper for a start and they'll have something to prove.

That's why we're better off keeping hold of Kranjcar and O'Hara - when they come off the bench, they can swing a game based on what they can do (be it goals for Kranjcar, or JO'H's workrate giving the team a kick up the backside)

When Jenas comes off the bench, he doesn't contribute anything to the side that can change a game.

Kranjcar and O'Hara both want to leave, though.
Neither are happy being squad players and I can't say that I blame them.
