You know what, I can agree with that, just about.

Lose the weird and I'll make it 100%

It's Kubrick; the weird is mandatory.

Spartacus wasn't weird. Neither was Paths Of Glory. What Kubrick films are, are they are not easy to watch. They require a little effort on the viewers part. That's no bad thing in a World where US films have to tell their audiences half a dozen times what's going to happen next, before it happens, just so that everyone can be comfy and keep up. Kubrick is a bit like Shakespeare for the modern day, sorry 20th century. Anything resembling a film, featuring the likes of Adam Sandler or whatever his name is, for example, a Kubrick film is not.

Not to be too crude about it but, the words ****ing genius film maker and Stanley Kubrick are not incongruous in the same sentence.

Di Canio's first team lost 3-1 to their Under 21s, mixed with the players he had exiled.

No real surprise there. Players with a point to prove against ones who don't!

Behind closed doors friendly, I'd imagine it's not too uncommon.

Yeah I just meant why now, when, as Rich said, half the team will be away on international duty?

I wasn't actually! (don't remove my 'like' though ). Can't think of many reasons to play a inter-squad friendly at this point in the season, unless the match was to test out a new formation or tactic but then it doesn't make much sense when they are missing key first team players who would have to buy into it. Perhaps it was to see if any of the fringe first team players who have been excluded could make the step up, but he would have had to name them in his 25 already!

No one knows what goes on in his strange mind! <confused> How did he not think in this day an age that a match like that wouldn't get out?

Yeah I wouldn't pay for it either,I read it in the actually paper for free at work. They found a sniper rifle, hand gun, gloves and ammo in a black briefcase that they had fish out a river.

For DVDs I never use anyone other than Amazon. Even the second hand DVDs that you can pick up for like 80p are very good condition.
