This is daft. who gives a **** it's not even illegal. He's probably safer having it than a couple beers and driving off. Getting a little sick of this ****. It's petty and irrelevant. It's his own health and don't start with the role model argument, it's as bad as the whole "video games turn kids into violent criminals"
It's a drug and being a role model is relevant, you might not think so but I do. So can't see any point in discussing it, besides, it's late and i'm tired.
i dont have a problem with any england player or adult ****ing up their own **** , but id not be happy to find my own kids wanting to try it coz a footballer tries it :/

To be fair he hasn't done anything illegal. And no offence to him but he doesn't seem like the brightest guy - I think it's quite likely he didn't know about the dangers or controversy it might cause!

Am I right in thinking he inhaled the stuff out of a balloon that makes your voice go weird? Hasn't everyone done that?
This is ****ing silly, nitrous balloons are **** all. They make you a night floaty for about 30 seconds and that's it. The only thing they're worthwhile for is getting proper drugs to kick in faster.
Whatever next? We'll be chastising Steven Gerrard because he was photo'd having a lager shandy with his family meal, and discussing whether he should be able to play for England as he had a feeble amount of alcohol.

One thing I don't get is why are the media so ****ing two-faced - one minute, they are rooting for England to win something and getting behind them, the next minute they try to disrupt the team by producing crap like this, which can affect the mentality of some of our players.
Foreign media rarely does this to their national team players, even though it probably happens just as often.

Having never tried lighter fuel/solvents/helium balloons (I sound really boring) but have had the space cake in Amsterdam - can I say, are little sproglets/brats really want to try what Kyle Walker tried or are they too busy shooting up in the local alley every night and would consider Mr Walker a lightweight (was going to use another phrase but wasn't sure if it might be getting me into trouble with the mods - hopefully the shooting up comment is allowed and if not Mr Moderator I am very sorry for using such a phrase)

The real story to me is this happened in June. They didn't feel it was worth reporting at the time but wait to the day before England's qualifier when he is the only fit right back and likely to play.

i think he's setting a good example! I'd rather see my kid do laughing gas for 30 seconds than become an alcoholic or smoke cigs.
