    Hi,
Just a quick question. I'm going to be late for the game next sunday against West Ham due to work.
I finish at 4pm, the same time as kick off, but I can get there in around 10-15 minutes.

Is there a time that they close the gates and stop letting people in? Or will I be ok?
I'll be there around 4.15 ish.

Sorry for the random question, it'll be the first time i've been late

Ring the club and check. Then post back here as it might help others.

You should be able to get in. I'm sure SaintBirdsnest did it a couple of times in our season in the Championship. You just have to bang on the wide door next to the turnstile and a steward should let you in after you show him your ticket.

Yeah, the game vs Blackpool I turned up just before half time, and as Jake says, bang on the big doors and they'll let you in

You've paid for your ticket to enter the stadium, the club would be in a breach of contract not to let you in (unless you are rolling on the floor drunk etc)

I didn't think the new electronic turnstiles were turned off?

Due to traffic I turned up to last seasons west ham game 10-15 minutes after kick off. All the doors and turnstiles were open as usual so I just entered as normal. Except for more panting.
