I like Hernandez but he is a typical goal poacher that relies heavily on others providing assists. He has good movement and causes Defendants problems but has nowehere near the level of technical ability as Torres. Just depends what sort of forward best suits your side I guess.

Wouldnt this make him ideal for us? With all our attacking midfielders he would get assists aplenty.
Perhaps we should have gone for him instead of Rooney.
Perhaps he might like to start a game for a change? :)

Torres: technique!! Even pre 2009 when he was good, he was all power and pace

Would it though? It's something I've debatted for a while.

Some games I watch, our striker barely gets a shot in. It's not like Torres/Ba are missing 10 chances a game that a 'better' forward would score. Our midfield seems great a creating chances for other midfielders ariving late (plus we get a fair few from set pieces) but maybe not an issolated striker.
