I think we'll see him introduce a new tactic to the footballing world this season; the "4-2-4-0 Defense".

Back four is fairly straightforward, except the RB has to be a big burly Centreback that is encouraged to play as a third central defender rather than a fullback.

Two defensive midfielders (one of whom has to be Lampard) to be the link between defense and the Attacking Midfielders.

FOUR attacking midfielders! Woohoo! They must play as narrow as possible to be defensively solid, wing play is overrated.

No strikers. The goals will come from midfield anyway...

I'm pretty sure it was 6-4-0 in the Super Cup. Going to 6-3-0 after Ramires had his 15 seconds of fame...

Dave on the pool board;

Quite seriously why would we want either of them? Neither of them fits neatly into our patterns of play. We have a group of young players who will develop together and with a little luck a couple will match or even surpass both Bale and Ozil.

That's about Ozil and Bale!
You really do have to laugh.

Unfortunately old Dave is the epitome of deluded.

I assume because they're top he thinks they will win the league and have a squad of world class talent that the likes of bale and ozil wouldn't improve. It's laughable really.

He is perhaps the most one eyed fan on the entire forum, and that even includes some of the Chelsea fans. There was a thread on their board about how well they are moving forwards and building towards success in the future, and dave pops up asking why they have to wait and can't they just have their success now! Sadly it's attitudes like that which have seen LFC fail to deliver any real success for about the past quarter of a century.

good god, the ozil w(a)nkathon is getting out of hand, he's not one of the top 5 best players in the world as paul merson claimed yesterday, he's not world-class,he needs to prove himself in the premier league first which i doubt will happen, i hope spurs finish above arsenal just to stop the w(a)nkfest

He's a brilliant player matth. I think he's better than Bale!

The ****fest is probably because it's unusual for a top class player, yet to reach his peak, to move from one of the top European clubs to an English club. It usually works the other way around.
