I don't really buy that. His is the only side you hear. He is too fond of self promotion shown by a series of previous Twitter comments which were rather detrimental to the club/staff even before he went to Torquay. I also should have said that obviously Wycombe struggle with vertigo, because every time they go a little higher they totter back down with great alacrity.
There's many a club that does that inertia thing. Stockport, Plymouth, Norwich, Charlton to name but a few. It's a case of not spending beyond your means.
