I see that the former government minister, the man of many political roles, has decided he has had enough of being the chairman of the great unwashed and has ( or will ) relinquish his position in favour of a whisky magnate Mr. Ian Bankier who is quoted as saying:

"As a long-standing supporter of the club, I feel very privileged to be invited not only to join the board of Celtic but later to become its chairman.
"I am looking forward to it tremendously and hope that my own contributions to the future success and well-being of this extraordinary club will be as positive and beneficial as those of my predecessors."

"this extraordinary club" what the feck does that mean? Out of the ordinary? Different? Well yes they are different, they are completely different, they challenge every decision, they are in complete denial, they foist all blame for everything that doesn't go their way on others, particularly on Rangers.

I wish Sir Reidface whatever his title is, all the the best in his retirement from his role at the beggars and extend a hearty welcome to the new incumbent, long may he reign!

And long may he be without a Championship!

Dr John Reid stewardship at Celtic will be remembered for it's lack of trophies.

    The Baron years.
