Last couple of hours and rumour is rife that Rom would be leaving..

If true - stuck with Nando & Ba again for another season?!

What should we do?

Can't help but feel Mourinho is getting it wrong at the moment, Lukaku is the best striker you have at the moment and Mata your best attacker but neither can get in the team.

Yes, titles in Portugal,Spain,Italy and England along with CL success suggest he gets it wrong an awful lot <doh>

I'm not having a go at him I'm sure he knows what he's doing but not using Mata and Lukaku seems a bit odd, don't you think so? I'm sure the stock answer is just to back the manager and I'd be the same but I just think it's a strange decision to snub these two.

agree, can't understand why Rom & Juan are shunned away..

pretty sure Jose will have the answers -

but kind of worried..

Guess - this is it; the end of Lukaku..

Just don't want to be like Pogba situation...

I would play Lukaku myself but I think Jose knows what he is aiming for and sees how these things are going in training. If you can't accept the workings of a coach as successful as Jose then whose opinion can you trust?

Haha youre all such drama queens. Damn good move, he wasnt ready to lead us in Europe. Mata was injured and not shunned.

and how exactly Rom will get European exp from Everton?

we could have shipped him to our North London Friends.

I can see Mata featuring a lot more in home games and Europe when the pasce is a little less franetic. Away a bit more defensive work may be called for.

Lukaku has a poor touch and poor holding up play in comparison to Ba and Torres. Far too young. We all got carried a way too early he has a long way to go yet.

That may be right, but surely he would get better experience, and quicker, playing with Chelsea and not one of the also rans ????
Have to say I am underwhelmed by our conservative selections and style of play so far. Despite all our spending, we haven't filled any of the 3 huge holes we have had in our squad for the last 3 seasons, striker, controlling midfielder and CD. Nor are we bringing on any of our youngsters that I can see, just buying new ones we then lend out. Sounds ridiculous to be asking questions this early, and I trust Jose is well on top of his master plan, but damned if I can see what it is, except long ball to Eto'o.

Everton is a good step up from West Brom, has to fight for a place with decent competition. If he succeeds then he is ready, if not well maybe it is not meant to be!

IMO Willian as RW, sealed his fate. After all he would be at best 3rd choice striker in a 1-up-top formation. Not ideal! Besides he deserves to be farmed out after such a poor performance in the Super Cup. We were down to 10 men and he didn't run his socks off, cardinal sin in my book. Also missed the penalty which lost us the cup (thought that Terry could have avenged some CL demons by taking it, but he declined evidently)

32 year old striker who wasn't really firing at Anzhi, £50m striker that can't score in the league and an average striker we were trying to flog to anyone who'd listen.

Another poor window, another manager that will have to take the flak for poor results due to misfiring strikers.

Too many cynics in the Chelsea fan-base nowadays.

This too! <ok>

Torres has been improving each season he has been with us, Ba hasnt even been given a chance and Eto'o not firing at Anzhi, I know its the Russian league but he scored 1 goal every 2 games there.

His full goal scoring record:
1997–2000 Real Madrid 3 (0)
2000–2004 Mallorca 120 (48)
2004–2009 Barcelona 145 (108)
2009–2011 Inter 67 (33)
2011–2013 Anzhi 53 (25)

He has more a less a goal every other game ratio his whole career.
And I dont even like the cnut and didnt want to sign him, but theres no arguing he can score goals
