BBC Humberside Sport ‏@HumbersideSport 24s Hull City expect to confirm signing of WBA striker Shane Long shortly for a record £5million fee# All it needed was one of those other deals to go through.
No offence, but I'll wait until its done and dusted. I don't think our club has the final say, unless your source is at WBA?
Anichibe probably delaying because with LuKaku also joining would put him further down the pecking order than he is at Everton. It's good news for Anichibe that LuKaku not joining. More promising for us.
As things stand with WB having either RL or VA I can see our bid as being a formality. I am happy it is a done deal. Pending WB signing either of the above. Which they will either way as one or the other is nailed on!! If Everton get RL then VA is a gonner. If WB get RL then VA is back to Everton
Sorry was taking the piss. Bet a few people had a little wee upon opening this page. Can't understand WBA's stance here myself, I don't rate Long to highly but Anichebe is utter gash. Why would they sell him to get Anichebe? It'd be like us selling Aluko so we could get Wilbraham.
