Sorry for the double post but just found this as well, http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...southampton-chasing-former-liverpool-defender
'The Saints faithful', the game was played at St Mary's, it was an England game, not a Saints game More to the point you have no 'source...'
SL, I think some people are getting carried away with the transfer window At least we know who the desperate rumour freaks are now
I was there. Everything I claimed can be verified by me or 18,000 odd others mate. I'd say at least half the stadium were in saints colours otherwise how do you explain probably the least well known player playing getting the loudest cheer? I also never claimed this meant he has signed is signing or will sign, I simply told the people on this RUMOUR thread what I saw and how I saw it.
Slightly off thread...but there's been no news on Gobern. Someone said the hold ups from his side because he wants to play more football. Not sure he will get it with us either. Anyone any news.
It's probably the equivalent of reading tea leaves, but in the pictures on OS they have three clear shots of Jack Cork on his own. Most of the rest are action shots of groups. Read into it what you like!
In that case I'll take it as read the deals already done - just waiting the press release! ...well you did say.
Loving the fact sturridge seems to be on his way to SMS....... Well..... After all.... there are a few pictures of just him :S:S:S Read into that what you like ..... Sorry just a joke
OK guys and gals Keep your knickers on ET EL............Just remember what the original thread title said......."Rumour mill/Wish list" anything on here is likely to be pure speculation. Nothing more or less! Reading something into someones action is all part of that speculation intended or otherwise. So don't go round slating people off just because it sounds unbelievable or you don't believe it. Enjoy the thread for what it is just a bit of fun to while away the days waiting for our beloved football to start again
Yes I know buddy.......I agree in the main.........just a reminder to some of our younger contingent who sometimes get carried away. Also perhaps having a difficult time from telling fact from fiction........
Aaron Cresswell has been touted as a possible signing from Tranmere. Last season he played 49 games and scored 5 goals which can't be bad for a left back.
Like someone said on Saintsweb, the Corky pictures might just be the OS lot having a laugh, in keeping with when we were heavily linked with Brian Stock last year and they did that article about the megastore called "Taking Stock"
